I was born in Tokyo and spent my early years there, immersed in a world that values deference, simplicity, and discipline – all which eventually became an integral part of me. All the while, I felt a wild energy at my core with no outlet for expression.

After moving to California for several years, then moving to New York City immediately after college, I steadily rose the corporate ranks and got an MBA from NYU.
